i love how the fashion industry has suddenly stopped airbrushing models tattoos out of ad campaigns and photoshoots, as if imperfection amongst what the industry calls 'perfection' is suddenly cool.

i dream in sushi

i just attended my second interview for the new Yo Sushi that is coming to West Quay. went really well, fingers crossed i get the job!

in the meantime i want these adorable Hello Kitty sushi dishes. nom nom  nom!

mauvaise excuse pour un cuisinier

so after throwing down the culinary gauntlet and declaring war on my kitchen, i look back a week later and realise that i have done nothing! cooked nothing! tried nothing new! nothing!!
however today i am making a delicious stir fry for the boy and myself, so maybe one step closer to christening the pages of my cook book with a splatter of soy sauce, or something that stains just as bad.

i have a cup of daisies, each one represents a dream, i sip upon it rarely.

food glorious food

so I watched Julie and Julia the other and decided that I'm going to make my way through a more student friendly recipe book. (Best Ever Three & Four Ingredient Cookbook)
my diet is appalling I end up just nibbling on things all day or eating food stuffs that require little prep, and the irony of it all is that I love to cook, and I'm not that bad at it.
so I'm going to, in my own time, so yeah by the end of this year, cook my way through this book!
